A New Look for Impro-Mime

October 23, 2026

This new version of the site was designed as a natural extension of the art it seeks to highlight: dramatic corporeal mime, also known as dramatic physical theatre. An art in which the body becomes language, where movement can tell a story, suggest, resist and transform, sometimes without a single word.

The new site seeks to capture that same quality in its form. Fluid navigation, a flexible visual rhythm and a graceful, understated aesthetic that never feels cold. Images, archives, events and faces move through it like living material. One discovery leads to another, almost as if following an impulse on stage, a movement, a tension, a silence.

This redesign also pays tribute to everyone who has been part of Impro-Mime since its beginnings. Every artist who has contributed to a concept, a gathering or an improvisation has a place here, not merely as a name in an archive, but as an integral part of a collective history in motion.

The site thus becomes more than a showcase. It becomes a living memory of the project, a space for discovery, sharing and curiosity about an art that remains too little known.
