Maude-Hélène Brouard
Mask · Clown · Dance
Maude-Hélène Brouard is an actor and movement artist trained in theatre performance at the École de théâtre professionnel du Collège Lionel-Groulx. Her practice places great importance on the performer’s physical work and mask performance. She has notably taken part in several creations involving masks, including Le temps d’une dinde, Projet voisin, De l’eau dans’cave and Regard public. Her work also encompasses dance, clowning and collaborative creation, with the body as a central tool of performance. This relationship with movement, masks and physical presence naturally connects her work to the areas explored by physical theatre.
