Manon Guiraud
Costumes
Manon Guiraud is a set, costume and props designer. Trained at UQAM, she explores the relationships between textiles, the body and intercultural encounters. Her research-creation on Colombian dances led to *Colombia Colora’*, a carnival in which costumes become performance objects. In 2017, she co-founded Le Pictographe, a company devoted to narrative design in public spaces, which she co-directed until 2021. She has collaborated with Voyageurs Immobiles, Samsara Théâtre, Le Petit Théâtre de Sherbrooke and Théâtre Incliné. Colour and textile materials are at the heart of a practice that brings traditions, contemporary creation and cultures into dialogue.
