About

An artistic laboratory in Montreal

Impro-Mime is an initiative launched by mime artists from the Montreal area. It is an exploratory, non-competitive space. A laboratory for experimenting with the combination of Decroux-based mime and other disciplines.

Initiated by Solo Fugère, Tania Hernandez and Jennyfer Desbiens, this project grew from a desire to practise the art of silence together, without the pressure of commercial performance. Our focus is artistic research shared with an audience rather than competition.
