Impro-Mime: Mime and Continuum
1945 rue Fullum, MontréalFree admission. A voluntary contribution of $5 is suggested.

This Impro-Mime session, directed by Vincent Langlois, brought together two practices that initially seemed worlds apart: mime and Continuum. The event gathered Francine Alepin, Laurence Castonguay Emery, Catherine Cédilot, Ariane Dubé-Lavigne, Nasim Lootij and Anne Sabourin for an exploration of movement, bodily awareness and improvisation. Rather than simply placing the disciplines side by side, the gathering sought to observe what could emerge from their encounter: different qualities of presence, rhythm and movement, and new ways for the body to relate to space and to other performers.
