Michel “Mike” Pelland is a visual artist, illustrator and creator with a background in film and television. After graduating in fine arts from Concordia University in 1999, he worked as a director, editor and 2D animator before devoting himself fully to visual arts. His work, presented in several exhibitions, explores memory, identity and the traces left by our experiences. He also works in children’s illustration and is a founding member of Éditions Alaska. His multidisciplinary career brings together illustration, visual arts, animation and filmmaking.
