Impro-Mime: Mime and Drawing
1945 rue Fullum, MontréalNo tickets; a hat is passedChildren and latecomers admitted · Gender-neutral restrooms · Elevator

This Impro-Mime session, directed by François Blouin, explored the encounter between improvised movement and drawing. The proposals invited performers to respond to shapes, marks or images, and also to let gesture itself become a source of visual inspiration. Drawing could serve as a starting point, a constraint, a memory or an extension of physical improvisation. The session sought to create a dialogue between two languages built in the moment: the body in motion and the line on the page, with all the chance, listening and transformation that improvisation involves.
